Fedoma head of programmes Symon Munde said this on Thursday in Salima during the launch of an inclusive education manual being developed for teachers in schools with children with disabilities.

The manual is being developed under a partnership between Fedoma, Parents of Disabled Children Association of Malawi (Podcam) and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST) with funding from Japanese Social Development Fund (JSDF) through the World Bank.

In his remarks, MoEST director for special needs David Njaidi said the ministry is part of the project because it has the potential to bring change in access to education for people with disability. n
