Fifa, FAM organise global management system training

Fifa, in conjunction with FAM, has organised a global management system workshop for all major football league administrators.

According to Football Association of Malawi (FAM) commercial manager Casper Jangale, the day-long workshop will be held today at Chiwembe Technical Centre in Limbe from 9am.

He said the training programme has been necessitated by a new system Fifa has introduced called ‘The Global Management System’ which is powered by a Tunisian company Nasil Technologies.

“Nasil Technologies has sent two of its officials who are at the moment installing new software and hardware equipment to be used in the system,” said Jangale.

The Global Management System comprises three modules; namely administrative management and production of licences for players, coaches referees and club officials; competitions management module that deals with management of competitions and football matches organised by different organisations such as FAM, Sulom, regional leagues, women and youth football as well as match sheets management which supports the definition of a form corresponding to the current game and keeps track of the match location.

Jangale said the workshop will mark the beginning of modern and professional approach towards running the game.
