Resa is the first person to be evicted from Big Brother Hotshots. She was later followed by Mozambique’s representative Mira to face the boot.

Resa, a Zambian Hotshot, was asked to leave the house by Biggie after she failed to win enough votes to stay in the house. She was joined by IK on the live stage for her eviction interview.

resaAs usual Big Brother guestroom was quite as show host IK announced the first evictiee. 12 housemates were made to stand and some breathed a sigh of relief when it was Resa who was to leave first.

The beautiful Zambian took the eviction well but the same could not be said for her friend Mira, who immediately shed tears.

All week the continent has been voting for their favourite housemates and there are thirteen countries and one Rest Of Africa vote. Viewers vote via social media and via SMS.

Each vote cast using these methods all carry equal weight, that being one viewer popularity vote. Viewer popularity votes will are tallied for each housemate eligible for eviction within each voting region.

miraThe housemate with the most votes per region will receive that region’s popularity vote —if a tie occurs, the region popularity vote will be split equally. Those with the least regional votes are evicted. If there is a tie, a second round of votes will be tallied.

Tensions and nerves are high again in the house as housemates were yesterday asked to nominate next evictees. Who will be next?
