Fischer hits out at some BB officials

Nyasa Big Bullets veteran midfielder Fischer ‘Jahman’ Kondowe has accused some of the team’s technical officials of conniving to frustrate him.

He was responding to his absence from the team’s line-up in the past three successive games.

Said Kondowe: “There are about three technical officials who are trying hard to frustrate me, but they will not succeed.

“There is nasty politics happening behind the scenes. They have ill motives not only against me, but also two other senior players.”

“I have come a long way and served Bullets with loyalty of a saint for years and someone cannot just wake up and say ‘tithana naye’ [we will deal with him].”

The dreadlocked midfielder who is the fans’ favourite dismissed suggestions that he is being sidelined due to poor performance.

However, team manager Rahim Ishmail said the battle-hardened winger is not being featured due to poor performance.

“He needs to pull up his socks, that is the only reason he is not playing,” he said.

But the player countered: “It cannot be an issue to do with performance because I played well in the first few games and then from the blues, I was reduced to a side show from being in the starting line-up. I know I am not guaranteed a place in the starting line-up but things should be done on merit.”

Apart from last Saturday’s TNM Super League match against Epac, Fischer did not feature against Sable Farming and MDF Marines in the Presidential Cup.n
