Fischer, Malata dropped again
Flames coach Ernest Mtawali has again dropped winger Fischer Kondowe and defender Lucky Malata from the list of local players to go into camp this Sunday at Chiwembe Technical Centre in preparation for the 2018 Fifa World Cup Preliminary Round Qualifier against Tanzania’s Taifa Stars.
Instead, Mtawali has roped in midfielder Levison Maganizo from Fisd Wizards and Be Forward Wanderers’ striker, Kondwani Kumwenda.
Rejuvenated Be Forward striker Luka Milanzi and Bullets FC’s promising defender Miracle Gabeya have also been included in the 25-member squad for local based players to start camping.
Goal keepers are Bright Munthali from Fisd Wizards, Juma Chikwenga of Moyale Barracks and Be Forward Wanderers’ Richard Chipuwa.
Pililani Zonda, Yamikani Fodya and Miracle Gabeya (Big Bullets), Stanley Sanudi (Be Forward Wanderers) Emmanuel Zoya and John Lanjesi (Civo United, Wonderful Germany (Silver Strikers) and Chisomo Mpachika from Dedza Young Soccer will go into camp as defenders.
Midfielders are Isaac Kaliati (Be Forward Wanderers), John CJ Banda (Blue Eagles),Yamikani Chester (AZAM Tigers), Dalitso Sailesi(Big Bullets), Chikoti Chirwa (Red Lions), Levison Maganizo (Fisd Wizards) Kondwani Kumwenda( Be Forward Wanderers Harvey Nkacha – Kamuzu Barracks
The striking force has Chiukepo Msowoya (Big Bullets, Manase Chiyesa(Kamuzu Barracks), Deus Nkuthu (Moyale Barracks), Mohammed Sulumba and Luka Milanzi(Be Forward Wanderers) and Green Harawa (Silver Strikers).
Civo United goal keeper Innocent Phiri is on standby.
The Flames will first play away on October 7 and a return leg is slated for October 11 at the Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.
