Flambee, the toast of Picasso

There are eateries in town today that boast of providing the best food one can get. As in any race, some lead and others follow—Picasso Restaurant at Sunbird Mount Soche leads the pack.

Eating outdoors is not just about food, the surroundings too have to be eye-catching and that is exactly what Picasso offers. The restaurant overlooks the swimming pool and the beautiful garden. The hospitality, it starts at the entrance where one is welcomed by smart and ever smiling waitresses.

When eating out, many prefer dishes they have not tasted before. At Picasso, you can get any type of meal including Malawian dishes.

With several specialties, Picasso boasts of being the only provider of Flambee dish. This is the main meal and customers take it hot as it is prepared right besides the serving table. Customers choose to take beef, chicken or Prone Flambee. As customers wait for the dish, they are served with some snacks. Other mouth-watering dishes are T-bone, steak, local chicken, Chambo, Chicken Captain Walker and Chateau Briand.

At only K2 850 one can get delicious local dishes while light meals go at as low as K1 500.

While enjoying the meals and comfort of the seats, customers are treated to soft music. Those who enjoy meals served in open grounds can get their meals at serving tables planted outside the hall.

The restaurant serves breakfast between 6am-10am and lunch from 12noon-2pm and supper from 6pmto10pm.The Coffee shop is open 24hours and packed meals are served anytime. It also hosts parties.

“We are the best and we will remain the best. We strive for best standards and this is what anchors our success in food service,” said Mount Soche Hotel manager Joshua Shaba.
