Immediately after this afternoon’s 2015 Africa Cup of Nations’ qualifier against Algeria, there will be no time to rest for the Flames as they are expected to prepare for their trip to Algiers tomorrow for the reverse fixture.

The return leg is slated for Wednesday and Football Association of Malawi (FAM) chief executive officer Suzgo Nyirenda yesterday said they were still working on the logistics of the trip with government.

“Funding has not yet been released, but we are in constant discussions with government and hopefully by close of business today (yesterday), everything should be in order.

“All the necessary bookings for the trip have been made and all that is remaining is the funding,” said Nyirenda.

FAM presented a K31.8 million budget for the trip to Algeria.
