Are covid-19 vaccines safe for people living with HIV?

A friend of mine recently was advertising his favourite condom, Naked Shiver. According to the manufacturer’s website, “Not only will you experience the sheer sensation of the Naked condom, but now you can feel the extra, intense sensation of Shiver. The specially formulated lubricant will send shivers down your spine and is designed to heighten sexual arousal for both you and your partner unlike any condom you have had before!”

There are many varieties of condoms. Flavoured condoms are great for oral sex and come in an assortment of flavours and aromas from strawberry, vanilla to chocolate. If you are planning on using flavoured condoms for vaginal sex, make sure they are sugar-free as sugar can cause vaginal yeast infections.

Textured, studded, ribbed or dotted condoms can increase pleasure for both partners. Sheer condoms are very thin and are made to feel like you are having sex without a condom. Pleasure shaped condoms have enlarged tips for the heightened sensitivity for both partners. Glow in the dark condoms are for those who want to have fun, they will glow after about 30 seconds of exposure to ordinary light. Warming condoms are designed to enhance sensual pleasure through the release of gentle, warm sensations for both partners.

Edible condoms—roll it on and eat it off. These condoms do not provide any type of protection against pregnancy or sexual transmitted infections (STIs), they are just for fun. French ticklers have a soft jelly tickler tip which tickles the inner walls of the vagina. These condoms, like edible condoms, do not provide protection from STIs or pregnancy. Tingling pleasure condoms such as Durex’s Tingling Pleasure provide an intensifying, tingling experience for both partners. Performer condoms slightly numb the penis, slowing down ejaculation, making the sex last longer.

There is something for everyone!  Trojan for example has 29 types of condoms and Durex which stands for durability, reliability and excellence also have a wide range of condoms.

So, there is no excuse – the myths of condoms reducing spontaneity, causing premature ejaculation, reducing sensation and pleasure are all busted. Condoms can give you pleasure and heightened sensitivity that you would never experience having bare sex. But remember, it is important to communicate with your partner to ensure that you are using condoms that satisfy both of you.

Why not try Chisango’s new vanilla flavoured longer lasting condom?
