According to Hockey Association of Malawi (HAM) executive member Wathaza Mughogho, the event will also include a six-aside bonanza.

Genetrix will officially be crowned champions having emerged winners in both men’s and women’s categories while Scorpions and Braves were the runners-up respectively.

“Next season, we would love to see more clubs take part in the league so that there should be more competition.

“By virtue of being the league champions, Genetrix will automatically represent Malawi at the Africa Cup for Club Champions (ACCC) which will take place in Zambia’s capital Lusaka from December 12-19. n
