Four vehicles crash on Chipembere Highway

Four vehicles collided along the Masauko Chipembere Highway, few metres from Trade Fair Grounds.

According to eyewitnesses, a Toyota Starlet registration number KK 3815 driven by Anthony Baluti hit the speeding Toyota Hiace when the starlet’s driver tried to turn at the junction to Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC).

The Hiace then hit a Ford ranger which ended up hitting a Toyota Exiv, on the other side of the lane.

Nobody has been injured.

As we went to press, drivers of the vehicles and traffic police officers were heading to Blantyre Police station for statements.
