Freedom from the spirit fear

Listen to this article

Do you struggle with fear, anxiety, or worry?  Many people I have met and talked to do.
Before I received Christ I suffered from anxiety. But not anymore!  Submitting my life to Christ through fellowshipping, prayers, fasting and understanding his Word, has found me freedom and peace.  By learning to live my whole life devoted to Him alone, I have learned not to worry about the outcomes of events, what people think or talk about me, or whether or not I will succeed in  anything I am doing, because in everything I do, my Jehova is in there.
Freedom from fear might come by what we seek. Are we worried about our families, joblessness, poverty, sickness, failure in our lives? Are we concerned about our country? Are we fearful of the evil things that haunt our future?  Jesus, in Mathew 6:33, said: “Our seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” If we love God, we need not fear. If we worship God our faces will transform from a shameful expression of irrational fear to a radiant one reflecting the glory of God.  If we will but get a taste of whom God truly is, our senses will be overwhelmed so that we would never return back to eating the hog slop of the world. We need to loathe that which God despises and love that which God delights in.
Sometimes we allow fear to creep in us because of what we speak. If we speak evil, that evil will haunt us for generations.  If we speak being insecure, that will put us in bondage and make us plan evil against others because we are not sure of who we are.  Sure, if every day we are fortifying faith or fuelling fear, then we live in perpetual bondage. The Bible teaches us about the power of the tongue to help unleash the vitality of faith or the venom of fear by what we say. (Proverbs 18:21)
Yes, like many, we might have failed God, but you can have a broken heart of repentance and experience His rescue.  We are not exempt from trouble, but can endure the trouble. Jesus promises preservation and resurrection. If the last enemy, death, was defeated with the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross, then let us lean in His everlasting arms.
Let us step into God’s light and He will empower us. As in (John 3:20-21). “Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.  But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God”
If we are God’s children we must live by faith, directed by God. Shame the devil and cast out the spirit of fear out of your life now.
