Gabadinho laughs off Nomads’ interest

Big Bullets wonderkid Gabadinho Mhango on Wednesday laughed off Mighty Wanderers’ talk to sign him for next season.

Gabadinho was reacting to Nomads general secretary David Kanyenda’s statement that they are planning to approach Bullets for his services at the end of the season.

“I do not know anything about that and I do not think I would be willing to join Wanderers. I do not think I can make such a move. For now, I belong to Bullets and I am happy playing for them,” said Gabadinho.

After being mesmerised into submission by his magical skills, the Nomads said on New Year’s Day that they would love to sign Gabadinho.

Gabadinho turned on the magic and left the Nomads startled with a double that inspired Bullets to a 3-0 in a TNM Super League second round showdown on Sunday.

However, Bullets general secretary Higger Mkandawire dismissed Kanyenda’s claims and described them as a “New Year joke”.
