Gaudy Maluza dead

The brains behind Kanengo Northgate Project—an upmarket residential estate in Lilongwe—Gaudy Maluza has died. Sources have confirmed to Business News that Maluza died on Monday at Mwaiwathu Hospital in Blantyre.

Maluza was once the general manager of GM Properties Limited, the managers of the project whose vision was to create a communal village that was supposed to have a shopping mall, an academy, clinic and other related services to service the residents of Kanengo Northgate Communal Home.

The project was modelled along the line of Beverly Hills and was launched in 2005 with the intention of building 1 800 modern executive houses and a business complex as well as a golf course.

Maluza was once a consultant for a mining firm based in Tete, Mozambique.
