Up-and-coming artist George Kalukusha proved why music lovers in the country should be on the lookout for him when he gave out a stellar performance during his album launch at Ufulu Gardens in Lilongwe.

The soft-voiced artist got a standing ovation soon after finishing his set that saw him entertain fans with his songs Milton Stone, Bottles, On and On, Strangers, Crazy and Heavenly Bodies, a duet with poet, Q Malewezi.

“Thanks so much people for coming. It really means a lot,” he said before taking a bow. The EP has six songs. I have a song featured on written by Rukmini Nyce and a remix of one of my songs by rapper/entrepreneur Ndakhonza Munlo.

“I decided to make the launch free for all because I wanted to make the night about my album and not people to see a show,” he explained.

Other artists who performed were Neil Nayar, Sirius, Menes and Kine.
