But both sides have made it into the top-six stage where they will tussle for the ultimate prize against seeded Southern Region Netball League’s Escom Sisters, Bingu Tigresses, MTL Queens and Woget Stars next weekend.

Glass Bank Sisters, who reached the first-phase final after beating Prison Sisters 35-20, received K40 000 and a trophy from Rainbow Paints commercial manager Bruno Silas whereas Airwing Sisters got K20 000.

“Airwing Sisters gave us a good game. They forced us to run to their heels for the better part of the match. In the end, it was our team that was more interested to win the match, which is what is important in any competition,” said Glass Bank Sisters team manager Veronica Chigaula.
