The unpredictable Goldie Susan Oluwabimpe Harvey is pulling surprises even in death.

On Sunday, a man believed to be her husband emerged, posting intimate pictures on Facebook, sharing the same on her Twitter handle, and engaging with several curious fans.

He even issued a warning to Prezzo, a Kenyan she met on the reality series, the man many of us have come to know as the late singer’s bona fide partner.

Prezzo was supposed to propose marriage to Goldie on Valentine’s Day.

There were rumours she may have been married or involved with an expatriate, but no one could confirm during her lifetime. But what was hidden for years until Sunday with the startling revelation by Andrew Harvey.

“We wed in December 2005 and were very much married when she passed. I was talking to her on arrival in Lagos from Los Angeles for the Grammy awards, before the fateful event.

“Prezzo was part of BBA game, just like in the movies, there was nothing to fear. But funny it dragged way beyond BBA,” said Harvey who spoke exclusively with Nigerian Entertainment Today.

“I am originally from England but staying in Malaysia because of work.

In fact she was here in Malaysia, we spent Christmas together away from prying eyes. I am currently working on my visa so that I should attend the burial. But as for Prezzo, Goldie was mine so stay away,” Harvey is quoted as saying.

The Kenyan rapper born Jackson Makini finally broke his silence on the passing of his Nigerian girlfriend.

In a sorrowful poem shared on his Facebook page on Sunday, he described his pain at the loss of his fellow BBA Star Game contestant.

“God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not meant to be. So he put his arms around you, and whispered come with me. With tearful eyes we watched you, as we saw you pass away…He only takes the best,” reads the poem.

Goldie is believed to have died from deep vein thrombosis.
