Gospel greats to invade Capital City
Big names of the country’s gospel musician are set to be locked in a clash of titans on Sunday at the ICA Marquee in Lilongwe.
Dubbed the Great Gospel Extravaganza, the clash of titans brings together Thocco Katimba, Allan Chirwa, Evance Mereka, KB Gospel Singers, Favoured Martha, Faith Mussa, Marvellous Deeds, Khama Khwiliro, Limbani Simenti, Mighty POV, Kondwani Chirwa, Steve ‘Wazisomo’ Muliya in one place.
“It is a live gospel show meaning no CD use. The show has been organised with an aim of bringing the best from the well-established, as well as, up and coming gospel artists. The line-up represents the best in terms of talent,” said Precious Chikatiko, of No Limit Promotions.
While similar shows are scheduled to take place in Zomba, Mzuzu, Blantyre and other districts in Malawi, Chikatiko said they want to give people the fun they always want while promoting talent.
“While we are entertaining people, we also want to give the artists the platform to show what they are capable of. It is simply the best and win-win situation,” he said.
