Blue Eagles Sisters filled the last semi-final slot in the GOtv Netball Champions League on Saturday at Blantyre Youth Centre (BYC) with unbeaten record.

Eagles have sailed through to the semi-finals alongside defending champions Complex Tigresses, Thunder Queens and Kukoma Diamonds.

Eagles, who won all their three games in the first-round in Mzuzu, continued their impressive performance with an 85-17 victory over Mimosa Queens and a 67-19 triumph over Mafco Soldiers.

They currently top their GOtv plus group with 10 points from five wins.

Tigresses are second with eight points following their 73-24 and 91-11 thrashing of Mafco and Mimosa, respectively.

Mafco are third with two points while Mimosa anchor the table with no point.

In GOtv Value group, Thunder Queens are at the summit with eight points, the same as second-placed Diamonds.

Thunder Queens saw off Lameck Queens and CivoNets with 58-26 and 39-33 respectively.

CivoNets and Lameck are third and fourth with two points apiece.

This means the last matches of the penultimate round today at the BYC will be played as a formality.

However, the results will determine the fixture for the semi-finals slated for Lilongwe in two weeks time.

GOtv Plus leaders will take on the second placed team of the GOtv Value group and vice versa.

Eagles face Tigresses while Mafco take on Mimosa.

In the other group, a match between CivoNets and Lameck will precede a Thunder versus Diamonds encounter.
