ITS Enterprise has donated K500 000 to Great Angels Choir  ahead of Friday’s show featuring South African gospel star Sipho Makhabane.

The boost comes at a time the choir is counting down to the one-off concert at Bingu International Convention Centre (Bicc) in Lilongwe which will mark the launch of their website.

According to ITS Enterprise managing director Maxell Phiri, the cheque will help the choir to meet some of the costs of the show.

“Just like our IT company, Great Angels Choir has shown a visionary way of doing things by creating a website. They are moving away from the traditional way of doing things. As a company which is always innovating,  we are proud to associate with them,” he said.

Great Angels Choir director Ephraim Zonda thanked the company for the timely assistance.

“We have written and approached several companies and organisations for them to partner us in hosting Sipho, but few have responded positively. We are grateful to ITS Enterprise for coming forward to support us,” he said.

The South African artist and his backers are expected to arrive on Wednesday. Other sponsors include Simama Group of Companies and Humphreys Transport. n
