Grey were the first to register their record victory after confining Orange to 134-129-run beating in 20 overs with Arshad Wadiwala pulling the strings for the side as he made an individual contribution of 52 runs.

In the afternoon match, OCC made 139 runs to beat Gold Fattani by 15 runs. 37 runs from Jay Kher, 24 runs from Bhasker and 22 runs from Piresh were enough to grant OCC the deserved win.

At the OCC, White triumphed 152-151 over Blue. In this encounter, Hasim Khan deserved the kudos for the 163 runs he made for White.

A match between Silver and Purple was the last to grace the OCC cricket field and it all ended in Purple’s favour as they  made 160 runs, 59 runs better than their opponents, who made just 101 runs all-out.

Silver missed the services of their top batsman Aasif Rustam who had a busy schedule at his workplace.

“We had exciting and entertaining games last weekend. We hope that such cricket thrills will continue in the next games,” said the competition’s organizing chairperson Saeed Limdawala.
