Prime Time Media artists’ collaboration single Bola Kusache has gone viral, hitting more than 10 000 downloads in the first month.

Bola Kusache is a new single by Gwamba featuring Nesnes, both of whom are signed by Prime Time Media.

Released on October 8th, 2013, the single continues to enjoy heavy airplay on all radio stations.

“The song was produced by BFB and is presently on position two on Malawi Music urban top 20 tracks with more than 5 600 downloads. But it is the most downloaded song on www.mdubvibe.com this year after garnering 5 652 downloads.

“We are very excited with the response so far. I hope other players in digital music distribution and sale will seize this opportunity,” Prime Time Media lead consultant Edward Kankhomba said.

He said the increase in music downloads is a sign that Malawi is moving with the global trends.

“We are in a digital world. We all must now go digital because music is not selling physically again. You have to keep up with what is going on these days,” he explained.

Kankhomba said there’s need for websites that can sell Malawian music online.

Meanwhile, he said shooting of the Bola Kusache single is in progress.

“Ron C is shooting the video and he is almost through with it. Therefore, it should be released soon,” he said, adding that Gwamba and Nesnes are both working on their debut solo albums.
