As he plans to release his first ever gospel album, Gwamba has released a new song, Alleluyah, whose video comes out on today.

Alleluyahvideo release has been shifted to Monday, March 21st, due to the sudden death of Grace Chinga. May her soul rest in eternal peace,” said the artist in an interview.

Initially, the video was supposed to come out on March 18.

A 19-seconds trailer of the song shows that  it is a praise and worship which talks  about the  need to praise and thank God all the time because of everything He does for us.

“Shot by Sukez and recorded by DJ Sley, it is the second song off my forthcoming album called Jesus, That’s My Boss, which will be released later this year,” he explained.

Alleluyah video was shot in Chitedze, Area 24 and Kamuzu Institute of Sports in Lilongwe, according to the artist.

Gwamba said that since he became a born-again Christian, he has been encouraged and supported by many to continue with his music career.

He said: “The response so far has been amazing and I would like to thank Malawians, but mostly God for his grace and favour.”

Born Duncan Zgambo, the former Hip Hop artist announced in early January that he has chosen to turn to God, marking the end of his successful music career.
