HAM donates hockey sticks, balls to Mzuzu city schools

Northern Region hockey committee was all smiles on Saturday, when the Hockey Association of Malawi (HAM) gave them 60 hockey sticks and 20 balls for

Mzuzu Foundation, Wukani Private, Mzuzu CCAP, Chibavi and St Augustine primary schools in Mzuzu City.

Speaking when handing over the items on behalf of HAM at Mzuzu CCAP ground, Leo Chorwe, who is a member of the national coaches development committee, said the donation was aimed at improving hockey in the region.

St Augustine Primary School sports organiser, Brownson Silwimba, expressed gratitude to HAM for the gesture. He said the items will go a long way in promoting the sport in Mzuzu.

He pledged good care for the items.
