Reacting to news of the nomination, one of the founders and creative directors of HD Plus Creations, Hastings Golosi, said it feels great to be recognised after being in the industry for only three years.

“This is a company that started from scratch by college students and strive to penetrate the industry on both local and international market,” he said.

He added: “The nomination means a lot to us. As a tech company whose core business is videography and advertising, we always make sure we bring out the best creativity. Our fast growth has proven that we are one of the best in the region when it comes to the art of video production.”

Another co-founder of HD Plus, Gift Sukez Sukali, said the nomination will help HD Plus Creations to expand to other countries with its services.

“As you know, being recognised in Southern Africa will put us on the spotlight, hence, we will be able to work with companies not only in Malawi but also globally. We are looking at producing movies, advertisements and international documentaries. So, this will be our chance to sell ourselves,” he said.

Reflecting on why they have been nominated, Sukali said it is because HD Plus team puts in a lot of effort in its creative work.
