Heaven for victims

Dear Editor,

I was happy to read in your last week’s article about Mr and Mrs Kalazi’s satisfaction with the Victim Support Unit at the police.

I have always been scared of the police and would only go there if I really needed to. But to learn that abused women are finding solace there, confirms to me the importance of the unit to society.

Police should continue doing the good job they are doing.

I like to read Every Woman each Sunday and I was happy to see you had brought up a topic on female genital manipulation. Although, I have not given my response as a man I think women must pull because it is what differentiates them from Western women or those from other countries.

Even though I noted that you said most men do not notice a difference I think the cosmic things that Malawian women do for their men should be encouraged. Not that I would chase my woman away if she did not do that, but I just think it is an addition that should be very welcome.

I would also love to hear from you on what people think about couples watching pornography together.
