Barely a day when support staff at The Lilongwe High Court turned the court premises into a sports complex, their colleagues in Blantyre had a better idea; they turned the High Court in Blantyre into a dance floor on Friday.

The judicial junior staff brought music equipment and passed the hours away while dancing to Fikisa’s famous tune Akamwile Kuchitekwere.

The judiciary junior staff has been on strike from Monday to force government to implement the conditions of service approved by Parliament in 2006.

Since then the striking staff have been seen playing football, chess, bawo, netball, while others just sat on benches under tree shade.

But Friday the weekend fever caught up with them, and they decided to go into party mood. Here is a small video Nation Online captured Friday, 13 January 2012.
