Holy Heart in charity show

Holy Heart, an organisation that empowers women and children will hold a charity show on October 7 at BAT ground in Blantyre.

Jamina Mwatha, one of the directors of Holy Heart, said artists such as Piksy, Sir Patricks, Kwin B, Blaze and others will be part of the youthful line up of artists.

He said:“Our aim is to raise funds that will be used to empower and support abused women, orphans and vulnerable children and we are calling well-wishers to come and help us reach our goal of empowering, protecting and supporting our beneficiaries.

“We established a charity nursery school where orphans, vulnerable and abused children come to learn and eat for free. We have three care givers who always take care of our children, but we lack resources like learning materials, food items and clothes for orphans and others needs; hence, the charity fundraising show.”

Mwatha said the organisation has four empowerment clubs of 20 women each, majoring in tailoring, hair-styling, baking and farming.
