“It is only through innovation that the cost of doing business, which is already high in Malawi, will be brought down,” he said.

During the event, Globe Group of Companies unveiled new products and services such as G-Guard Monitoring that tracks security personnel movements, G-e Transact that facilitates electronic transaction with credit cards or mobile money.

“Soon, we will be launching the G-TaxiME, or Nditenge in Chichewa. This is a mobile-based application where clients will order taxi service to get a ride to any destination in Malawi,” said the firm’s chief commercial officer Elias Imaan.

He said the service will be reliable and secure because it will connect commuters with reliable taxi service providers.

Imaan said the application will also indicate the price in advance and show the locations of taxis in your vicinity.

The GlobeEXPO provided company executives a chance to appreciate some business solutions ranging from finance, human resource to fleet management and tracking. n
