If I were

If I were: Uladi Mussa

If I were Uladi Mussa , People’s Party (PP) top official, I would not waste time castigating opposition party leaders such as Arthur Peter Mutharika and Atupele Muluzi on petty issues during political party rallies.

If I were ‘Change Golo’ I would focus on issues other than waste time on discriminatory issues such as the age of Atupele and Mutharika’s marital status because the picture I am painting is that my party is afraid of the duo in the countdown to next year’s presidential polls.

How I wish I were the comedian that is ‘Change Golo’, because I would realise that the issue of Atupele’s age and Mutharika’s marital status is irrelevant.

If only I were Uladi, I would take such public rallies as opportunities to convince the electorate on why Amayi is a better candidate who should still be entrusted with the country’s presidency come next year.

I would concentrate on my party’s policies instead of wasting time castigating political opponents.

Perhaps if I were Uladi, I would consider joining the world of comedy to share the stage with revered names such as Michael ‘Manganya’ Usi, Izeki, Jakobo, Chindime, Samalani and Daliso Chaponda because that is where I would fit best other than serious politics.

That is if I were Uladi Mussa. Fortunately, I am not ‘Change Golo’.
