Inde Trust Limited has donated various hospital materials to Limbe Health Centre antenatal clinic valued at K1 million.

Making the donation last Tuesday, Inde Trust Chief Executive Officer Peter Lihonga retaliated the company’s commitment to improving the welfare of Malawians.inde-trust

“We know government cannot address all the challenges that the health sector in the country is facing hence the need for the corporate world to partner with the government in this noble cause,”he said.

“We hope that the donation will go a long way in addressing some of the challenges which the hospital has been facing and we hope that others will take from where we left,” he said.

On her part, the Centre’s Nurse in Charge Naomi Bowa commended Inde Trust for the timely donation and appealed for more support from the corporate world.

“We appreciate the gesture by the trust and our appeal is for the corporate world to come in and assist where they can. We have numerous problems among them lack of hospital rooms and erratic water shortage,” she said.

Among the items donated are blood pressure monitors, sterilizers, delivery packs and electronic baby scales.
