Limdawala: All other teams have to win

According to the competition’s organising chairperson Saeed Limdawala, Mpingwe Sports Club (MSC) will host a game between Anchor Silver and MSC Blue before paving way for a battle between MSC Green and MSC Purple.

He said Oriental Cricket Club (OCC) will be a venue for face-off between the hosts and MSC Grey in the morning and tussle between MSC Black and Fattani Gold in the afternoon.

However, Limdawala said all the teams except Green and Black already made it into the quarterfinal stage.

“All the other teams will play this weekend’s games for formality’s sake, but as for Green and Black, they are in real qualifying battles; they have to win their games to get slots in the last eight stage,” he said.
