Int’l consultant dates Malawi clergy

He is known across the world for his compelling, challenging and captivating keynotes, and now global leadership and management consultant Alex Ihama is in the country to deliver about 20 lectures to pastors, bishops, politicians, professors, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, women and youths.

The 2016 series of lectures, which will last four weeks, will be held under the theme Mystique of Leadership: Strategies for Wealth Creation and Global Influence.

The lectures will take place in districts, including Mangochi, Blantyre, Lilongwe and Salima, according to a statement released by John Chirwa, senior pastor of House of Prayer for all Nations and executive director for Foundation for Education and Social Development (Fesodev).

This follows a partnership agreement between Fesodev and Ihama’s International School of Greatness headquartered in Canada, but with campuses in 18 countries across the world, to organise Welcome to Greatness Malawi, annually. Ihama is also expected to inaugurate the Malawi branch of his International School of Greatness.

Said Chirwa: “Malawi is undergoing economic upheaval and needs seminars like these to change the landscape. I have been waiting for such an occasion for the past 10 years, and now, I see the future unfolding for me and I thank God for it.”

On his part, Ihama said he is thankful for every opportunity he gets to inspire people.

“While I have been doing this for almost two decades, I still don’t take it lightly. The work we have been doing in Africa for some years now was inspired by my mentor, the late Dr Myles Munroe. It was in an encounter with him some years ago that he challenged me to join his ground-breaking effort to train leaders across Africa,” said Ihama.

Another featured speaker in the series of events is Bishop David Kings, the senior pastor of Charisma Church in Kaduna, Nigeria.

The lectures started on 19 August, and will wrap up at a business breakfast to be held at Malawi Sun Hotel in Blantyre on September 13 2016. n
