Islander predicts Nomads, Mzuni game

Only one person out of over 50 000 predicated correctly last Sunday’s TNM Super League match result between Be Forward Wanderers and Mzuzu University (Mzuni).

Amista Shaban from Likoma Island predicted that the Nomads would lose 4-2 and for the feat she won K50 000.

The islander was on Tuesday over the moon when TNM officials broke the news that Predict and Win weekly prize winner.

“I cannot believe it. I just wanted to try my luck,” said Shaban, who had to be convinced to believe she had indeed won.

Such unpredictable was the match that even Be Forward Wanderers left their home ground Kamuzu Stadium wondering what had hit them after the loss.

Meanwhile, Nyasa Big Bullets supporter Malinga Tambula from Zomba won the monthly K100 000 after he correctly predicted the result for the match between Moyale Barracks and Red Lions which the Mzuzu-based soldiers won 1-0.

Speaking during the draw, TNM public relations and sponsorship manager Limbani Nsapato said the promotion has generated a lot of excitement among supporters.

“We are very encouraged with the participation levels as evidenced by the number of predictions that we got in the first round,” said Nsapato.

So far, TNM has dished out cash prizes to 21 winners amounting to K1.250 million.

In the first round which concluded last week, the promotions received 100 000.

Supporters were also engaged in Sapota Kawawa promotion, in which participants sent images as they cheer their clubs.

The image with the most likes wins.n
