Pilirani Zonda, Nikiza Ayimabo, Amos Khamula scored while Jelesi Lufeyo and MacFarlane Ngwira failed.

Both teams put up scintillating displays in a match that produced six goals.

Bullets went ahead through Nikiza Ayimabo’s header 26 minutes before half-time.

Junior Malidadi levelled a couple of minutes later, after tapping into an empty net an Owen Chaima fumble.

Jelesi Lufeyo put Bullets ahead six minutes before recess, but celebrations were short-lived for Bullets fans as Eagles levelled again through Wister Phiri.

Eagles came in the second-half more determined.

They took the lead 12 minutes after resumption, through a scorching drive that gave Chaima in Bullets goal posts no chance.

Bullets responded a few minutes later. Diverson Mlozi beat the offside trap and lobbied the ball over an advancing John Soko in Eagles’ goals to make it 3-3 and the game went into penalties.

“It was a great game and all the teams had chances to progress. Thank God, we are in the finals. Credit should also go to the players,” said Eagles coach Deklerk Msakakuwona.

His counterpart Nsanzurwimo Ramadan rued missed opportunities during the game.

Civo United put three goals past Silver Strikers to make it to the finals.

Nelson Kangunje scored the first goal through the spot kick. Rafael Phiri and Charles Chilembo added the third goal to kill the game. Silver never came back in the game.

In another development, Mighty Be Forward Wanderers lost 2-1 to Fisd Wizards yesterday in a friendly encounter that took place at Kamuzu Stadium.
