Joseph Chirwa in executive CD launch
Praise and worship musician Joseph Chirwa will hold an executive launch of his new album By My Spirit on Friday at Sunbird Mount Soche in Blantyre.
The launch, which will start from 6pm in the hotel’s Njamba Room, will be presided over by the founder and president of the Living Waters Church (LWC) International Apostle Stanley Ndovie.
Chirwa said the event is targeting a class of people that rarely attends gospel shows at other venues.
“We must understand that there is a certain class of people that need to attend gospel shows in specific venues that suit their class. So, the launch is trying to meet the needs of those people,” said Chirwa.
The executive CD launch charges K10 000 per head and advance tickets are currently selling at LWC Radio, Blantyre Synod Radio, Colgate-Palmolive and Winners’ Chapel Bookshop. Snacks and drinks will be served for free.
Chirwa has roped in veteran musicians Sir Paul Banda and Pastor Enersia Chitheka.
Recorded and produced at One Heart Studio by Lloyd Phiri, Chirwa’s By My Spirit features songs such as Chikondi, Woyera and Gwireni Dzanja. n
