During the march which was graced by Minister of Information and Communications Technology Nicholas Dausi, the marchers carried placards with various messages all asking for genuine press freedom.

On WPFD, which is commemorated on 3 May throughout the world, the local fraternity was encouraged to embrace investigative journalism.

As we went to press, the journalists were gathering at Sunbird Mount Soche for their annual gala dinner, and presentation of awards.
