Kafoteka said negotiations for his deal at the club were put on hold pending the team’s last game of the season final Sunday against Army FC.
“My agent [Gibby Kibiringe] is coming on Monday [Monday] and then we will have a meeting on Tuesday to map the way forward. I have done well so far having played in four training games and scoring one goal.
“We could have concluded the deal last week, but they said they were focused on finishing the league. So, everything will be sorted out on Tuesday, but I hope I have secured a deal here,†he said.
He also revealed that Flames midfielder Joseph Kamwendo, whose whereabouts were not clear, has joined him at the club.
“Joseph was attending trials at another club, but he left and he is here with me. We are staying in the same hotel and we both played on Thursday in a training game which we won 3-2.
“I am not sure whether his deal will also be discussed, but I can settle the dust by declaring that Kamwendo is with me at Bec Sasana,†said Kafoteka in an e-mail on Friday.
Kafoteka went to Thailand after he failed to clinch a deal with Vietnamese side Navibank Saigon.
Bec Tero Sasana is currently seventh in the 18-member league and will finish on the same position if they win their remaining match.
