Church of Christ Reverend Lemani Kamdidi will next Sunday be unveiled as moderator of six churches.
Kamdidi is one of the longest serving reverends of the church and has been overseeing Ndirande, Manase, Mpemba and Makhetha branches. He is also expected to oversee Machijiri and Chiradzulu branches.
Said Kamdidi: “I am ready for the stewardship of these churches. Of course I am aged, but strong. Sometimes I walk to various places to minister and this is a good challenge for me”.
His induction is expected to be conducted by the moderator of Gowa Synod, Reverend Tendence Suya and will be attended by Church of Christ members across Malawi.
Kamdidi is also chairperson of Blantyre Church of Christ branch in Blantyre.
