In the first leg, first round of CAF’s second tier club tournament held at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi, Kamwendo put the Mozambicans ahead on 13 minutes who kept their the lead into the break, reported www.supersport.com.

But the hosts changed the complexion of the game in the second half, scoring from the 74th minute through Osas Aigbe, John Lawrence and Eze Stephen in a dramatic comeback.

Zicco Mkanda is also reported to have featured for Liga Muculmana de Maputo who now need a two-goal margin win in the return leg in Maputo after a fortnight to progress in the competition.

Still in the CAF Confederations Cup, Atusaye Nyondo retained his place upfront for SuperSport who managed a vital goalless draw in Angola against Petro Atletico in Luanda.

In South Africa, Limbikani Mzava was on the winning side as Bloemfontein Celtic eased past Free State Stars 2-1 to progress in the Nedbank Cup on Saturday.

But Mzava’s compatriot Esau Kanyenda did not have a similar feat when the latter’s Polokwane City lost 2-0 to Kaizer Chiefs to bow out of the cup.
