Kanene, B1 in Lilongwe on

Zambian ragga singer General Kanene and his Perfecto compatriot BI arrived in Malawi on Thursday for a series of shows, starting at Portuguese Club Friday night.

The unorthodoxy Kanene, B1 and their five backers will perform at Mungo Park on Saturday.

In an interview on arrival, the 27-year-old star expressed excitement to be back in Malawi for the first time since 2010.

 “The good thing about Malawi is that they do not only dance to my music but also appraise the message I try to put across,” said the Mwana Wagalu and Half Chicken hitmaker.

He said fans should expect fireworks. So did B1, who is known for Chipute, Perfecto and Pillow Talk.
