In just two months and a week since he released his new album Ndidzaimabe, the Blantyre based star is already toping music sales in the country with a wide margin.

According to details the artist has already sold 53 000 copies in seven weeks. Out of this, 45 000 copies have been sold by top music seller in the country OG Issah and the remainder has been sold by TK music firm which is owned by Katimba.

Speaking when confirming the figures in an interview over the week, Katimba only said God is performing miracles in his life.

“This is what God has planned for me and I am feeling honoured. I was really shocked on Sunday when I met O.G Issah on an invitation to hear that my album is topping sales on the market of both gospel and secular music. He told me that my album has already sold over 45 000 copies (tapes),” said Katimba revealing that the just released CD is also selling like hot cakes.

He says, by early this week, he had already sold about 10 000 copies of the CD and he is expecting the figure to double by the end of this week.
