Beatrice Mangwana (h/c27) was the runner-up with a 78 net-score while BSC ladies golf captain Bose Kamphulusa (h/c27) was third with a net-score of 79.

Mangwana also enjoyed a double when he claimed nearest to the pin on hole five and longest drive on hole 13.

Gabriel Kambale (h/c3) won the men’s category with a 70 set-score.

Anderson Engineering national sales manager Wakisa Mwalughali said they organised the tournament to interact with their existing and potential clients as part of their corporate social responsibility.

“As Anderson Engineering, we think that there must be a time when we should take our customers off their offices to enjoy the game of golf.

“We are impressed with the turn up. Despite coming at a short notice, through the lady golf captain, we managed to pull through a good number of golfers. A field of 46 isn’t bad,” he said.

Kamphulusa thanked Anderson Engineering for sponsoring the tournament as well as all the golfers that took part.
