Kayira excited at BB return

Midfielder Chimango ‘Blackberry’ Kayira has said he is excited at returning to Nyasa Big Bullets.

Kayira was on Friday unveiled  as the Peoples Team’s  first signing of the 2017 season after reaching a two-year agreement.

The box-to-box midfielder returns tothe club after terminating his contract with Mozambican side Costa Do Sol.

Bullets vice-general secretary Bize Kalozeni said they were delighted with Kayira’s return.

“I can confirm that we have indeed signed Kayira on a two-year contract. I cannot disclose other details of the contract since they are confidential,” he said.

However, he said Kayira was just one of the players the team has targeted for the coming season.

“I can assure you that we will sign more players as we try to form a team that will be capable of sweeping all silverware in the 2017 season.” Kalozeni said.

On his part, Kayira said he was looking forward to making an impact at his club which has struggled to find a replacement since he left three years ago.

“I will always remain a Bullets player. I can go and play outside the country but my heart will always be with Bullets,” he said.

Chimango, who was was among the highest paid Malawian players in Mozambique, said he opted to terminate his contract, to re-launch his career.n
