Malawian boxer Malani Kayuni has relocated to the northern region city of Mzuzu.

In an interview with The Nation on Sunday, Kayuni said after punishing most of the Blantyre boxers through knockouts, he decided to breathe a new lease of life elsewhere when his sister invited him to live with her in Mzuzu.

“Yes, I have come to the North, in particular Mzuzu, to live with my sister. The invitation has worked to my advantage because I have to deal with each and every boxer who feels greater than me here,” said the junior welterweight pugilist.

He said he itches for a bloody fight against Crispin Moliati, but there is no promoter to take their fight to the ring.

Mzuzu boxing coach Gabriel Kondowe confirmed the arrival of Kayuni, saying the hitman will be under the guidance of head coach Lasco Simwanza and himself.
