Keep ‘vendors’ issue burning!

I would like to applaud Nation Publications Limited for voicing out women’s concerns on the unfortunate incidents that occurred all over the country last week when women were undressed by ‘vendors’. You covered the incidents and Friday’s sit-in from every angle, which was impressive, I must say.

I would like to urge you to keep the issue burning; let’s keep talking about it until someone somewhere does something. This issue should not die a natural death, neither should it be forgotten like all the others. I have written specifically to you because you are a woman and you deal with a women’s supplement. Also, after reading through your ed’s note last week and discovering that you were almost attacked by vendors as a child, I am sure that this is something close to your heart. Remember; together, we can!
