Key Lounge, which was closed in the northern Malawi city of Mzuzu, last October due to change of management at the premises, has now re-opened for public shows under the name of The Complex.

Trooper Thindwa, managing director of the compound, said the casino and the bar have been leased to other individuals. He, however, promised gig-seekers that The Complex will continue hosting shows.

“There are no major changes to the premises, it is just change of management. At the moment, we are planning to host Maskal, Dan Lu and others, though they have not confirmed the dates,” said Thindwa, a manager of Shokkwave Records.

The first show, on Valentine’s Day, will involve Mzuzu-based artists such as Body, Soul and Mind, Sweetman, Blackface Family and Tissy Mike.
