Malawi’s new president Joyce Banda has appointed Moses Kunkuyu as the Information Minister replacing outspoken MP Patricia Kaliati.
In announcement made on statebroadcaster MBC Tuesday morning, Banda also appointed former broadcaster Benson Tembo to head the country’s state owned radio and TV.
Tembo, who was the founding director general of Television Malawi during the Bakili Muluzi regime, replaces Bright Malopa.
The new appointments are with immediate effect.
