Kwese beams Cosafa U-20

Kwese Sports Television is beaming live Council for Southern Africa Football Associations (Cosafa) Under-20 Championship games currently underway in Kitwe, Zambia, after partnering with the regional football governing body.

The television station’s marketing manager for Malawi, Annie Chisala, said the partnership with Cosafa has helped Malawians watch their Under-20 national team playing in Zambia.

“You can catch all the action on Kwese Free Sports [FTA channel 114 on Kiliye Kiliye] or on our up to date sport website http://kwese.espn.com/,” she said.

“For your information, Kwese TV decoders are also currently available locally across Malawi with many more distributions channels to follow.”

Malawi kicked off the regional youth tournament with a 3-2 victory over Swaziland at Arthur Davis Stadium in Kitwe while Zambia lost 2-0 to East African guestsUganda.

Malawi’s next match is today against hosts Zambia.

Kwese TV also beamed 2017 Cosafa Women’s Championship hosted by Zimbabwe.

Cosafa deputy chief executive officer Suzgo Nyirenda said they partnered with Kwese TV for the two competitions to allow football fans in the region to follow their teams as they play at the tournament. n
