“I am so happy, how I wish I could take my daughter Larhette with me. But all in all I just thank God for everything. I am really so happy to have won a ticket,” he said.

The ticket valued at K32 000 is a gateway to three days of fun at this year’s Lake of Stars Arts Festival which starts tonight on the shores of Lake Malawi at Chinteche Inn in Likoma, Nkhata Bay.

Bomba is one of 10 lucky winners in the Lake of Stars promotion which was run on Nation Publications Limited social media platform Nation On-Line Facebook page.

“I liked the Nation On-Line facebook page, and on Saturday morning (September 24) when I logged in to my facebook account and refreshed my feeds, I saw a question there. I did not hesitate, but answer the question and that was it,” he explained.

He encouraged the general public to keep reading news on Nation Online website, follow its feed on Twitter and like its Facebook page.

The Nation Online has been running the completion since Saturday, September 23 2016 in partnership with Lake of Stars organizer, Will Jameson.

On his part, competition coordinator Maurice Kazembe who is also NPL research and information officer said was happy with the number of people who participated in the competition.

He wished all ticket winners all the best as they travel to Chintenche for a weekend of fun.
