‘Let the work of my hands speak for me’

Listen to this article

What former Malawi president, the late Bingu wa Mutharika said during his tenure of office ‘Let the work of my hands speak for me’ continues to be used by some Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) members of Parliament (MP) and those in the party’s National Governing Council (NGC).

For example, this bridge built across Nasolo River in Ndirande is one of the projects, Blantyre Malabada MP Aaron Sangala has rebuilt after it was washed away by heavy rains this year. Sangala so far has constructed more than two bridges on Nasolo River. The picture shows people commuting to the main market easily, thanks to its reconstruction.—James Chimpweya, Staff Writer
